The Lafayette Poker Players Association (L.P.P.A.) is a poker organization based in Lafayette, Indiana and has growing community of local poker players and enthusiasts

We launched the organization in early 2004 to provide a internet base and reach out to anyone in the Lafayette area that was interested in or serious about the game of poker, so far that has been a great success and we continue to grow.

In August 2005 we branched out with the Lafayette Hold'em League to provide FREE live Texas Hold'em tournaments at local businesses in the area. Some nights we have had up to 43 players in one tournament and we currently average 20-40 players each night we play If you would like to join in on the fun you can check our tournament schedule for a venue and day near you.

We are also hoping to eventually launch the Lafayette Poker Tournament, which will be an annually hosted charity Texas Hold'em tournament. This type of event should become a huge success and push the LPPA to new heights.

Other plans include sending qualified players to play in Heartland Poker Tour satellites at the Majestic Star Casino in Gary, IN and WSOP Circuit Events at Caesars in Elizabeth, IN. Eventually working towards WPT and WSOP events, we want to show the world that our players can hold their own with some of the best poker players out there.
