Welcome to the Lafayette Poker Players Association
The Lafayette Poker Players Association (L.P.P.A.) is a poker organization in Lafayette, Indiana for the growing community of local poker players.
In early 2004 the organization was started as a way for local poker players to reach out to other local players who are serious about the game of poker.
In August 2005 we launched the Lafayette Hold'em League and began providing totally FREE Texas Hold'em tournaments at local businesses in the area. If you would like to join in on the fun you can check our tournament schedule for a day and venue near you.
We also hope to one day introduce the Lafayette Poker Tournament which will be an annually hosted charity Texas Hold'em tournament. This type of event could become a huge success and push the LPPA to new heights.
Other plans being considered include sending qualified players to play in Heartland Poker Tour satellites and World Series of Poker Circuit Events at various casinos in the Midwest, we would like to eventually send members to a World Poker Tour or WSOP Event. We want to prove to the world that Lafayette poker players can hold their own against some of the best poker players in the world.
