LPPA Heads Up Invitational
Congratulations to our new champion David Butts, Dave defeated April Phelps in the first round and collected the $5 bounty, then after defeating John Godsey in the semi-finals he took down another $10, and finally defeating Steve Caldwell in the final round and pocketing another $50, walking away with a grand total of $65 and the "Corona Championship Beach Bucket" (LOL). Congratulations should also go to our runner up Steve Caldwell who walked away with $10 after taking down Dave Mourfield in the semi-finals.
We can definitely say this turned out to be a exciting heads up tournament since 2 of the favorites to win ended in a heads up match for the final round. Hopefully we will have another tournament sometime in July or possibly August, with maybe even more players and a larger prize package (again to be donated by the LPPA).
